Happy Birthday Daddy Wonka!

Well today is my dads birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!! & here is the card I have made for him, I have followed a sketch from Saturday Sketch challenge for my inspiration.
I have used the Loads of Love SU stamp set and have coloured it in using the SU pens. The papers are from the Rainbow Sherbet range and I have added some stitching around the blue panel (as my sewing machine is on it's best behaviour at the moment)The "Dad" greeting is created using white foam thickers that I have inked with my "Tempting Turquoise" ink pad. I'm so in love with the stamp set and can't wait to experiment a little more with it! I also made Dad some cupcakes for his birthday tea that was held at the weekend, they were lemon sponge with lemon curd and a meringue topping! They were soooooooooo yummy!
They were finished off with some Easter Decorations that I didn't get round to using the week before!

Happy Anniversary to me..........

Todays card is for the Cupcake Craft Challenge it is the card that I gave to Mr Wonka this morning as today we celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. The sun is out today like it was on our wedding day and we have a lovely day together planned. I have received a new phone as an anniversary present complete with "our song" programmed in when Mr Wonka calls me. He has also programmed the ring tone as "I've got the golden ticket" when any of my crafty friends call! How cool is that..........lol I have used the Cupcake sketch for my inspiration and the stamp is by Elzybells. The dots are all Doodlebug papers in Ladybug, Blue Jean and Limeade and the card stock is from my stash. The greeting has been printed & I have added some doodling and rub on hearts to finish off. I hope that you all have a lovely day in the sunshine and I'll be back tomorrow!

Papertake Weekly 1-2-3 Challenge

This is my entry to this weeks Papertake Weekly challenge! You had to follow the following recipe 1 - circle 2 - ribbons 3 - stamps/images. I am being a little cheeky as the circle has been really squashed (to be clear it is not an oval it is a squashed circle lol). It is for my cousin who as you may or may not have already worked out is celebrating his 1st birthday. I know that the paper is from the Basic Grey "Baby Girl" range but I'm not sure what it's called as I had already cut off the name strip, Doh! The "One" is from the Penny Black clear alphabet set and the greetings have been created using Dooodlebug mini alphabet rub ons. I have also used my SU squashed circle punches (lol) and SU ribbon. Finally the brads and buttons are from the BG cupcake range. Thanks for coming and peeping at my blog, I really appreciate all my visitors and comments! x

They must have been good as there are none left this morning! I used a new recipe out of a lovely new cupcake book that was sent to me by a blogging buddy (thank you again!)

The next is Arthur McGarther, you all loved his super duper dangly legs a couple of weeks ago so I thought I would show one of him super chilled! He does get himself in the most peculiar positions. LOL
