Need help with your 5 a day?

Look what Mr Wonka & I made for dessert today! Yum yum pigs bum!!!!!!!!

I wanted to share it with you as this is a great way of getting your five a day, each portion counts as a 1 of your 5 so if you were to have one of these a day that would be your 5 a day sorted! I like to spread the word on healthy eating and hoped this has proved helpful. LOL

This is my Dad enjoying his.......

He is saving the bit in his moustache for later............

Sorry I didn't join in with the Stamp With Us challenge this week, I am up to my eyes in it at the moment and just didn't get time to make my card. Please pop over and check out the other cards though they have all done a FAB job this week!

Stamp With Us Sketch Challenge

It can't possibly be Sunday again can it???????

This weeks challenge over at Stamp With Us is a sketch challenge. We are also giving away places on the online classes over the next 4 weeks so why not go over, check it out and join in!

I have used Haiki papers with Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie card stock, the stamp set is "Oval All" and the ink is Pumpkin Pie. The flower is a cardstock sticker from the Scrappin kit called Petal Party I only had half of one of these kits and I have already made 2 layouts and about 5 cards, I really would recommend them.

Right that's it from me, I am off to a one day retreat today on behalf of "Simply Cards & Papercraft" so best get my roving reporter hat on!

Fathers Day Card

I only just realised that I forgot to show you the fathers day card that I made for my Dad.

I have used a kraft card blank teamed with SU Spiced Cider papers. The circle embellishment is a sticker from the "I Wish" Simply Scrappin' kit layered onto a scalloped circle then a larger black circle. I have finished it off with some buttons and a brad and of course a little bit of doodling. Dad really liked it so I hope you do to.

Arthur and his new moustache!

Imagine my suprise last week when Arthur came home with a moustache! Do you think he had his nose somewhere that he shouldn't have?

This is a reminder of how he normally looks:

and this is how he came home the other evening with his new look...............

It is just wearing off now, it was like ink and it has really stained his little nose! Do you think he has learned a lesson.......I don't think so!

This week over on Stamp With Us there is a recipe challenge, the recipe is to use 4 x patterned papers, 2 colours of card and NO embellishments. This is what I have come up with:

I have used the Chocolate Chip designer papers along with Whisper White and Chocolate Chip card stock. The cake has been coloured in with inks and I have added a little glitter on the flame!

Please pop over and join in, you don't have to use all SU products, just 1! That could be a shape punched with an SU punch or even a brad. I look forward to seeing you over there..........

Stamp With Us Colour Challenge

This is my card for this weeks Stamp With Us colour challenge. I picked the inspirational picture this week so I'm not sure why I found it so hard!

I have used "Taken With Teal" and "Regal Rose" card stock and embossed a section of "Whisper White" with my paisley embossing folder. The heart has been inked in "Regal Rose" ink and raised up using dimensionals. I finished it off with some glitter on the paisley background.

Don't forget to pop over and have a look at the DT cards, they are fab this week. xxx

Show Tea Towels............

You may or may not know that I am partial to a show tea towel or two. Look at these beauties that were given to me by a fandanbbidozie crafting budster the other night at our SU card class.

I am in love with them and they carry a very important message.......

"EAT DESSERT FIRST"

This is something I have done for years and I am so pleased that my new tea towels confirm that I have been right to do so all along!

Friday Sketcher Challenge

This is my entry to this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge, I appreciate I am yet again cutting it a little fine but I like to live life on the edge.........

This is using one of my new Great Impressions stamps, I brought 2 a while ago and have been waiting for a special occasion to ink them up. I have used Kraft card for my card blank and some paw paper from my stash. I have coloured in the cheeky cat with watercolour pencils and the greeting is an SU stamp.

This cat reminds me of my Arthur, although the bird would be in his mouth and not on his head! He is being a very wicked pixie at the moment and has been bringing in lots of little presents for us, I managed to save the frog but the bird and mouse didn't make it! NAUGHTY BOY!

Perfect Picnic!

I thought you would like to have a peek at the perfect picnic that my nephew hosted on Monday lunchtime, he made all the sarnies, popped sausages on sticks, and sausage rolls on sticks, and scotch eggs on sticks (he liked the sticks lol) made fairy cakes and decorated them too! He then layed the table with a party napkin each. I think you will all agree it is a perfect picnic, shame we all sat shivering whilst we ate it!

This weeks Stamp With Us challenge is a theme challenge and the theme is CONGRATULATIONS! I really enjoyed this one, every once in a while I make a card that I am really happy (not very often!) with and this weeks card is one of them.

I have used the Primary Colours Simply Scrappin' kit and just added a couple of jumbo eyelets. Please pop over and have a look at the DT's cards, I think that they have all really surpassed themselves this week.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Ribbon Challenge

Can you believe I am back already????? LOL I have decided that my mojo may fully return if I enter a few challenges so I popped over to Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and saw that this weeks challenge was to create a project with ribbons, so here's mine........

I have used another of the FABULOUS Olive designs by Sally -Ann at Digistamp Boutique, i was so touched when she named her cat downloads after my puddy cats! They are immortalized for life......thanks Sally-Ann. It really makes me smile when I see them on peoples blogs! Olive and Arthur are doing a digistamp autograph signing very soon..............

I have teamed Olive with a Papermania gatefold card, Real Read SU card stock, ink, gingham ribbon and designer paper. I really do love how all the products are so easy to match, this SU addiction is taking over my life!
I'll be back tomorrow with my Stamp With Us card, if you haven't joined in with this weeks sketch challenge then pop over and have a go it would be lovely to see you!

It's a wrap........a chocolate wrap!

I am really going to try harder to get back into my blogging, I have been feeling rotten recently and have had some problems with my mojo but hopefully I will be back for good!!!!

Here are a couple of chocolate wraps I made using the FABBY Olive & Arthur digi images by the super talented Sally-Ann from the Digi Stamp Boutique. I feel so awful as I am very behind on my DT duties but I'm going to try and catch up over the next few days!

This one is using one of the new Olive designs and SU Real Red & Old Olive card and summer picnic papers.

& this one is Arthur with SU Real Red card and again Summer Picnic papers.
I'm pleased I have made these and photographed them as I can go and eat the chocolate now!!!!

Stamp With Us Colour Challenge

Firstly thank you so much for all the lovely comments I have received for my Elzybells cards, I really appreciate every one of them!

Right onto this weeks SWU challenge. This week it is a colour challenge and this is my card.

I have used Bashful Blue card for the blank and have teamed it with Summer Picnic papers and Pumpkin Pie card to create this "Get Well Soon" card . I have used a stamp from the "Fun & Fastnotes" set. This is a brilliant all round set so if you are thinking of entering into the world of SU (it is a dangerous world to enter!) then this is a great one to start out with.

I made the card for a friend of mine who is very poorly at the moment, hopefully this will cheer her up a bit!
