Kyle & Bampie March Scrapclub Layout

Morning bloggers!

How lovely to have the sun out this morning! I am however a little worried that I am turning into my mother as my first thought was that I would get my washing dry today! Scary stuff! lol

Today I am sharing with you a single page layout that I made for our March scrapclub. The pics are of my Nephew and Dad on there way to football!

I have used the Stampin' Up! "Well Worn" papers, those who frequent my blog will know that this is not my normal style! I wasn't that keen on the papers when I first saw them but they grew on me when I was using them.

I have a flip out section so that I could incorporate more photos and then a secret pocket in the back for a tag.

We have our scrapclub once a month in Crawley and rotate a single page layout, double layout then a mini book. Everyone is welcome, there are more details on www.natalieoshea.co.uk  or you can email me.

Right I'm off to put my washing out..............rock and roll! xxx

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge "Inspired by a film"

Good afternoon, I hope you are all okay and that you haven't been washed away in all this wet weather, thank goodness I'm not out and about in it! I know the gardens need it but it is getting a little bit boring now!

I have had a quiet week, have had a little health set back but after a couple of duvet days I am now back on the road to recovery!

I mentioned last week that I wanted to have a go at a few challenges and today I have entered the "Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge". The challenge was to make a card inspired by a film and I have made this:

It has been inspired by one of my favourite films "P.S I love you". I have made it for Mr Wonka who has been a superstar over the last few weeks and I wanted to tell him how much I appreciate it. When he said "In sickness and in health" I don't think he expected it would be more sickness......bless him!

I have used one of the new Penny Black stamps called "Dear Friend" and it is in their cling range. The papers are SU as is the ribbon and card stock. The rub on is an old Pebbles Inc one from my stash.

I hope you like it, I was really pleased with how it has come out.

Right I am off to do a little more crafting as there are a couple more challenges that I would like to have a go at this week and I might as well make the most of all this spare time I have on my hands!

See you soon.......xxx

Happy Birthday Poppy!

Afternoon bloggers, just a quick one from me today! I thought that I would show you some cupcakes that I made for one of my good friends daughters 3rd birthday, she asked for pink with chocolate buttons. I think I have fulfilled the brief:

You can't really see from the pics but there was lots of glitter sprinkled on too!

Just before I pop off I thought I would make you chuckle, you know i told you in yesterdays post that I was off out for the night, well I struggled all afternoon to get ready for the pub quiz and then found out it is actually next week! DOH never mind, I'll try again next time.

I'll be off now, but before I go I would like to thank you all for your lovely comments that you have left, I really do appreciate them all.

Be back soon xxx

Penny Black Spots & Stripes Challenge Card

Well as I am back in blog land I thought it would be nice to enter some challenges, so I thought I would start with one of my faves, the Penny Black Saturday challenge. The challenge this week was "Spots and Stripes" here is my entry using one of my favorite images.

I have decoupaged my image after colouring it in with my new Derwent watercolour pencils which were a wonderful get well soon present from Mummy Wonka! I have used a very patriotic red, white and blue colour scheme using some of the Papermania "Portabello Road" papers and some "Real Red" card stock. I have printed the greeting and added some red brads to embellish.

I had better be off as I am supposed to be taking it easy today as I am off out to a quiz night at the local pub tonight, my first official outing since my op!

See you soon xxx

Arthur the amazing jigsawing cat!

Just a quick one today, I wanted to share with you all this picture of Arthur. Having been so poorly for a while I have been doing a few jigsaws as I can sit a bit and do a bit then rest a bit, perfect pastime. Here he is helping me:

This is him helping me sort the pieces, every time I but an edge piece in the box he flicked them out again, although i appreciate his help it does take a little longer with him assisting me!

See you soon! xxx

Liz & Wendy's coordinating cards!

Morning bloggers, well as promised I'm back again with the card that I made for Liz and Wendy to match their chocolate jars, quite a simple one but quite elegant I thought.....
I have used a Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip colour combination and teamed it with some adhesive pearls and taffeta ribbon.

The butterfly is a retired one from Stampin' Up!, I can't remember the name of it but it was the one where a percentage of the cost went towards breast cancer! I love it and am going to hang onto it for a while longer.

I hope that you like this and I will try and be back soon. xxx

Please do not fall off your chairs! I'm back!

Good afternoon, I'm so sorry that I have been out of blog land, sometimes things have to take a back seat and unfortunately it has been blogging. I have been quite poorly but have had surgery and I am now (hopefully) on the mend. As much as  I enjoyed my time out I am now raring to go!

So I don't want to run before I can walk so just a quick one today, this is a little jar that I altered. I made one each for the lovely Liz & Wendy at the crop I go too. They were full of maltesers! Although I'm guessing they have all gone now as this was some time ago!

I'll pop back soon and show you the matching cards that I made for them!

That is presuming that I have any blog readers left out there!!!! xxx
