Final Jubilee card JUBILEE CUPCAKES!

Good morning, good morning, how the devil are you?, good morning, good morning to you! (My mum used to sing that to be every morning when I lived at home)

Here is the last card that I made for the Jubilee class, a jubilee cupcake shop!
I love how this has come out, this stamp set  and punch is my absolute favorite and have really enjoyed playing with it. I have again used the bright papers and some red, white and blue card.

I will pop back tomorrow with a very simple 8x8 layout using in a jubilee theme!

See you then!

KEEP CALM Jubilee Class Card

Morning bloggers, I am so sorry for my lack of posts, life has taken over for a while but I am back on track now so hopefully no big gaps in blogging for a while!

Here is another of the cards that I made for my Jubilee class, there have been lots of versions of the "Keep Calm" cards in blog land and here is my take on them:
I have again used the brights paper pack with the "Just perfect" alphabet and crown from artistic etchings. I am pleased with how it has come out but it did take hours to line up each letter!!!! I won't be making many more that's for sure!

Right I am off, thank you for coming back and reading my waffle!

See you soon xxx

"Tea for two" Jubilee Class Card

Morning everyone! WOWSER what a scorcher! It was so hot last night that Mr Wonka decided to have the air con on in the bedroom, I must have been the only person in the country frozen under the duvet with jim jams and bed socks! I think he may have to tinker with the settings!
Today I am showing you one of the jubilee class cards that I made at the weekend.

I am really pleased with this one, I have used the "Tea Shoppe" stamp set and created a flag using the bright designer series paper stack. I have also used the new frame dies, which I HAVE to have, must pop an order in! (let me know if you need anything I'll happily add it on to my order)

I am off to sit in the garden and try and add some colour to my pasty complexion!

See you tommorrow with a cupcake inspired jubilee card! xxx

Craft day make and take, Twitterpated handbag.

Monday Monday da da da da da da (Sung in my best Mamas & Papas voice) I hope that you all had a good weekend filled with fun, laughter & family! I know I did.

This is my first show and tell from our craft day, this is the make and take that we made.

It is a handbag gift bag made from a brown paper bag and decorated with "Twitterpated" paper and grey card. I have used the new labels framelits and the fun flowers die for the clasp and decoration. This would make a fabulous gift bag with a matching card. The handle was made with some ruffled ribbon, it was a bit floppy so you can't really see it in this pic.

I will pop back tomorrow and show you the little goodies that we made for everyone!

Good morning, I hope that you all had a lovely weekend, didn't it make a lovely change to have the sun out! We had a rather manic one which included friends staying and actually managing to put up the shed that has been wrapped in plastic for a month on the patio! I have teamed it with Mocha Morning papers and Soft Suede and Crumb Cake card stock. Right I am off to sort out all of my bits for the second hand craft sale that I am holding tomorrow, there will be bargains galore!!!!!! Hopefully see you there.

Papertake Weekly "Anything goes" Challenge card.

Morning Bloggers!

I hope that you are having a lovely bank holiday weekend and managing to dodge the rain! We are having a lovely weekend spending time with friends and family and eating and drinking too much!

Today I have made a card for the Papertake Weekly  challenge. The challenge this week is "Anything goes" so quite an easy one!

This is the card I have made:

I have used the "Chit chat" Penny Black stamp and teamed it with some patterned paper from the Doodlebug "Snips & Snails" 6x6 pad. The greeting is a Stampin' Up! set called "It's your day", this is a really cute little greeting in a two stamp set, a real must have!

Right I am off to supervise the shed building that is taking place in the back garden today! I have already talked hubby out of purchasing a nail gun......those that know him know that this would have been lethal!

"Best Of British!" Cupcake Craft Challenge card.

Hello, thank you for stopping by to see me this morning. Today I wanted to show you a card that I have made for the latest Cupcake Craft challenge. The challenge was "Best of British" and here is my card:

I have used a Penny Black stamp called "London Calling" and it was calling me after I saw the inspiration photo that they supplied:

I have teamed the stamp with some "Portobello Road" papers and some bunting made using my Stampin' Up! bunting punch. The greeting is by Craftwork cards and it fits beautifully over the Stampin' Up! curly label punch. I have paper pieced the actual telephone box which I think has come out really well, although it was incredibly fiddly cutting out all the window pains!

I hope you like my card, I am loving all of  the red white and blue papers and embellishments that are around at the moment and I have a feeling that there will be more to come!

We have guests today so I had better go and make myself beautiful (yes it may take some time! lol)

Homemade Chocolates.......Or are they???????

Happy Saturday bloggers!

There is a bit of a story behind this beautifully crafted box of homemade chocolates so I thought I would share it with you all.

I made them for a very dear friend of mine Anita we have a history of pranks and a love hate relationship with sprouts, you may like to read this post from December as a refresher.......

I thought you would like a step by step of how they were created:

1. Melt the chocolate.

2. Add mini cases to a mini cake tray:

3. Pop the sprouts on cocktail sticks........can you see where this is going! LOL

4. Dip them in the chocolate, making sure to cover all the green sproutyness......

5. Place them into the already prepared mini green cases.

6. Decorate with melted white chocolate in a mini piping bag.

7. Make a mini (green) box and wrap in cellophane and tie with a (green) bow.

I then popped them into the car and took them to the March crop where we were celebrating Anita's birthday. I popped them on the table with the other prezzies and filled everyone else in on the secret and waited for her arrival. As you can imagine we were like a bunch of school children giggling and looking around waiting for her to take a bite. After what seemed like forever she opened them up and passed them around, we all sat there picking bits of chocolate off and pretending they were delicious. She eventually took a big bite and had a mouthful of sprout! She had no clue bless her! I also have to report that she called me some rather rude names!

Feel free to have a go at the recipe..........lol

Have a good weekend, see you soon xxx

Sketch Saturday Challenge Card.

Good morning, it's nearly the bank holiday weekend! Not that I work so it really doesn't make much of a difference for me, but I do enjoy having extra time with Mr Wonka at home.

Today I have made a card to enter the Sketch Saturday challenge. I know it is a little early but I wanted to make a start on my Christmas cards. I always have a manic rush at the end of the year, so I thought that if I can make one a week I should have them all ready to go! Here is the card that I have made:

and this is the sketch that we were given for our inspiration:

I have used a Penny Black stamp called "Tweet Christmas" and have teamed it with some "Dear Santa" My Minds Eye papers. I do love Christmas and I really enjoyed making this.

Right I must dash, I have lots to do today and as everything is still taking me a little longer than usual I had better crack on!

Penny Black "May Day" Challenge Card.

Good morning!

I just want to start by thanking you all for your lovely comments about my blog makeover! It is so reassuring that people do actually stop by and read my waffle!

Today I am entering one of my favorite challenges, the Penny Black Saturday Challenge . The challenge this week is to make a Spring inspired card. This is the card I have made:

This is a new stamp that hadn't even been inked before so I really enjoyed making this one. The stamp is called "Tender Showers" and I have teamed it with some Sugar & Spice Doodlebug 6x6 papers and a Craftwork cards circle greeting. The gems are Stampin' Up!, they are, in my opinion the sparklyest (not sure this is a word!) gems EVER! If you don't own any then I strongly advise you to get your mitts on some!

Well I hope you like my offering, I am taking it easy today as I have been overdoing it a bit lately, I forget that I need to take things slowly then make myself feel grog again! So feet up and some chocolate medicine is in order!
